A Little Bit of Everything...

It's been a very long while since my last post and I have been busy!!!

In addition to my regular work, I recently finished the Wizard of Oz series II collector's cards in which I produced 282 full color cards 278 of which will be inserted into collector's packs sometime this coming Spring. To see some of the scans of the cards posted at Breygent Marketing's web site. Not all the scans are up as of February 27, 2007 but there are more on the way. A slideshow showing all the scans is at my dreaded MySpace page.

I almost believed that I wasn't meant to finish this set, everything got in the way...and I do mean everything. It's a miracle they were finished at all. The topper was being hospitalized for breathing in toxic fumes. Way to go me for living life in the least conventional way possible...without even trying. :P

I'm currently producing samples for consideration in several other upcoming card sets and I'll let you know if and when they come to fruition.

The last two or three nights have been windy here and I mean windy. When the forecast says "areas of blowing sand and dust with gusts up to 70 mph" it's time to take notice. One of the 50 foot trees that line Highway 74 came down sometime between the time I left my house at 5:30 and when I returned around 7:45. Good thing I was delayed by a phone call before heading home.

After a long and forced hiatus Pets Illustrated is back up and moving again, albeit under a .net domain rather than a .com. Due to a glitch in my (former) registrar's website, then their complete and total lack of getting back to me on my many attempts to contact them regarding the issue, they sold my former domain out from under me, the guy who bought it said he'd be glad to sell it back to me for $75,000. yeah, right. Now it's under someone else's ownership with "make an offer" to buy the domain name, minimum bid is $60 bucks. HA! Karma, my friends, bloody karma.

Off to sleep.
Love. Peace.
